Can you explain what effect running at those low frequencies has on what 
you're seeing on your monitor? Are you saying it's a bad picture or none 
at all? I'm not familiar with the nVidia cards. Would it help to try the 
version of the multimedia kernel that is compiled for those cards?

So few people use dial-up modems anymore. You can use the software from 
Debian etch if you need this.

It is much easier to answer direct questions. Please explain what you 
are referring to  with more than just a part number and explain what 
actually happens as plainly as possible if you do encounter problems. We 
love error messages quoted verbatim.

You should be able to use packages from Debian etch without too many 
problems, just don't do a dist-upgrade against it, that's all.
