I run 64Studio on somewhat dated hardware, but it's nice:

Gigabyte mobo
AMD64 3200+ w. Zalman CPU fan
2G RAM
nVidia GeForce 7600GS fanless video card
Sony Trinitron E200 monitor
Antech Sonata case & power supply
2 - 80G Maxtor drives
M-Audio Delta 66 audio board
Creative/Ensoniq PCI128

I'll replace the Maxtors as soon as I can. I have a large SATA drive in
my JAD machine, hopefully I'll soon be running 64Studio on one.

The PCI128 is in for its MIDI ports.

This is a quiet box, but it's not completely silent. My laptop's noise
is louder and more annoying.

All parts purchased on-line and locally assembled.

HTH,
