Hi Raphael ;-)

My eldest son goes mad with me, I spend ages setting up linux,
when it's running kinda sweet, I kill it and start over :-))

Linux means two major things to me.
1: Choice, I can start again if I want to.
I served my time as an engineer, I love to know how things work.
After an accident in 1989, I met some great holistic healers.
Now I have my own Clinic, train every day, and study how people
work.
I chose to change my life, it was the right choice,
and I had to have an "accident" to make it happen.

2: The linux community,
Sometimes you try to help someone with a linux problem,
and it doesn't work out, it means they have to reinstall.
This upsets me, but starting over is sometimes the only way.
I need a howto on howto post on a mailing list.
My posts look fine in the text editor, I paste them into icedove
and send... Blam... the text "spews" all over the page.
I swear it makes me reinstall all over again. ;-)
The linux community IS Linux.

My reports are the least I can do,
I have great respect for the developers and people
who make linux happen, even if I don't understand
the details sometimes.
If the developers get one bit of useful info from one of
the novels I write, it is worth the time.

Check out the Dweezil Zappa link here Raphael.

Great page Daniel, hope you don't mind me linking it here.

If you do a google for human skull,
you will see engineering at its finest.

See what I mean, a little note to say thanks Raphael,,
turns into a novel.

Cheers,

dave.
