Hi Tim,

We currently work around this using the jack-dssi-host tool in the menu 
launch command, so that clicking on the name starts the relevant dssi 
plugin as if it were a stand-alone Jack application.

However, since these dssi plugins can also be called from within apps 
like Rosegarden, I'm inclined to simplify the Sound & Video menu by 
removing these entries.

Free is right that at present, people might not discover these plugins 
without the menu links, so perhaps we can find a better way to present 
them in future.
