[64studio-devel] 2.1 RC2 - Issue with atheros wifi

Hi,

Tonight I installed 2.1 rc2 on my laptop - a clean install on a clean
disk.

First thing I noticed was my atheros wifi card was picked up
automatically. With 2.0 I had to build the madwifi driver myself. Nice
one.

Second thing I noticed was that network-manager would not associate the
card with my AP. 

Google revealed a bug (in Ubuntu) manually resolved by running:

	sudo iwpriv ath0 mode 3

after entering the network key in the gui. This worked for me but I
don't want to have to do it every time I boot my laptop...

Apparently the bug is fixed in the latest Ubuntu update.
