The xserver-xorg-video-i810 package is supposed to include support for 
9xx chipsets up to the 945, but I guess what you want is this package:

http://packages.debian.org/lenny/xserver-xorg-video-intel

which explicitly lists support for the 965 chipset. However, it's not in 
Etch. A newer version of X.org is one of the key reasons we need to move 
beyond Etch for 64 Studio 3.0.
