Hello,

I installed rezound from the repository and tried recording for the first time
today. It goes through the motions but after about 17 minutes (and 345MB) the
counters stop. The blinking "recording" light also continued blinking. The
level meters continue and writing to disk also continues. However since it
seemed to write to disk I let it go on. After 1.5 hours the tape was
transfered and I stopped the recording.

When clicking the "stop" button, the whole application just closes without any
message.

If I take a look at Jack then it says there has been 2 xruns about 1h10" ago.
And Jack has stopped. It isn't possible anymore to restart Jack as it gives
the following error in the messages window:

"libiec61883 warning: iec61883_cmp_create_p2p_output: Failed to set the
oPCR[0] plug for node 0
FreeBoB ERR: could not start streaming threads
LibFreeBoB ERR: Could not do CMP for connection 0
DRIVER NT: could not start driver
cannot start driver
...(connection change message)
Could not connect Jack server as client. Please check the messages window for
more info."

Setup:
-- uname -a = 64studio  2.6.21-1-multimedia-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT FR Fri Jun 22
00:00:33 UTC x86_64 GNU/Linux
-- using KDE3.5 changed the following setting as advised on the forum:

/etc/security/limits.conf

@audio - rtprio 99
@audio - memlock 1024000
@audio - nice -19

-- ReZound from the repository, installed 3 days ago
-- using FreeBob and a FA-66
-- Dell Vostro laptop, only 64studio on it

anything more needed, just ask.

Regards
