I built gimp 2.4 in 64studio when I posted the ticket...  The problem is 
that I cannot remember which packages I borrowed from lenny to be able 
to do that...

Well, not a problem then.  If you revert to 2.2 I'll just build my own 
again.  Cannot do what I need in 2.2, and I don't want a Doze system 
around just to run gimp!
