Hello all,
I recently bought an Edirol FA-66. I tried to use it with jack and freebob
driver, and I have this output error in qjackctl :
"zombified - calling shutdown handler
12:40:49.136 MIDI connection graph change.
12:40:49.140 Shutdown notification.
12:40:49.144 Client deactivated.
12:40:49.147 JACK was stopped successfully.
12:40:49.148 Post-shutdown script...
12:40:49.149 killall jackd
cannot send request type 7 to server
cannot read result for request type 7 from server (Relais brisÃ(c) (pipe))
cannot send request type 7 to server
cannot read result for request type 7 from server (Relais brisÃ(c) (pipe))
12:40:49.286 MIDI connection graph change.
jackd: aucun processus tuÃ(c)
12:40:49.412 Post-shutdown script terminated with exit status=256."
I use a laptop with a PCMCIA firewire card to connect the FA-66.
I tried to use the FA-66 on a normal computer with Ubuntu-studio and it
works very well.
I think the problem come from the use of a laptop, like this post say (
http://www.linuxmao.org/tikiwiki/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=6763&forumId=3&highlight=fa-66),
but I don't know how to resolve it.
(sorry the post is in french)
I would really like the FA-66 works on my laptop, because I bought it
essentially for its portability and use on linux.
Regards
Arnaud
