Yep, that's what I'm seeing too, for example on: 
http://www.myspace.com/nickcaveandthebadseeds

Weirdly, If I go to the new beta site at http://vids.myspace.com/ then 
the video clips work most of the time, although I have seen the blank 
space a couple of times there too.

Adobe's Flash plugin for GNU/Linux was last updated in December. I've 
verified that the version the script in the flashplugin-nonfree package 
downloads is the latest one from Adobe. I'm going to try earlier builds 
to see if there's a bug in the plugin. The alternative explanation might 
be that some library the plugin depends on has changed, but that seems 
less likely.

Of course, it could be that MySpace have made some change to their 
website, maybe DRM or advertising related. YouTube still works fine for me.
