Comment:

 Problems have gone when I installed 2.0 from scratch and upgraded to 2.1
 Pre9.  I have done everything that caused a crash or reset in Nautilus,
 and I am sure the problem has gone.  Thanks.  It might have been related
 to the unstable situation after the big gimp backporting.
