Hi Daniel,

I took a different track on Saturday. I picked up a new motherboard,
cpu , ram and a case. This box is a 2.3 Ghz dual core AMD Athlon X2. I
have 16 channels, 64 sends, 4 stereo buses and mains all humming along
in Ardour with only 4% cpu usage. Obviously something is askew in that
other box. I'll tear it apart when I get some time.
