It may not be unusual with 4 stereo aux buses fed from 4 sends per
channel on 16 channels in Ardour. But I'm not sure, it's only a single
core cpu. I know the freezes are not Ardour because I had one using Muse
too.
I'll grab the output you asked for tonight.
FWIW, I loaded up Ubuntu (Gutsy) 32 bit and Ubuntu Studio and the box is
still running, about 11 hours, all channels active in Ardour. CPU is
about 73%.
I'll keep you in the loop, sure. :)
