We're using the Drupal book module for this, which seems adequate to our 
immediate needs. It is possible to write a page and then decide where it 
should be located and/or linked at a later date. So I think I'll just 
get on and create the resource and let Daniel worry about the more 
technical side of the site. ;)

Don't quite understand what you mean. Have a look at the page and tell 
me how you would do it differently.
