The package is called iproute, aptitude install iproute.

No NIC detected on boot.  What version of 64Studio did you say you had? 
The bad news is that it looks like your NIC is not supported by the 
version you are running.

I believe it was added to 2.6.20 or 2.6.21.  The module is included in the 
default install of 64studio 2.0.  Your other choice is to add a supported 
NIC or build the driver yourself.  Adding a supported NIC is the easiest 
solution.  You could also upgrade to a more recent kernel which has the 
driver included.

Personally I always have a 3Com 3c905 nearby for just these sort of 
mishaps.  I also have an SMC USB 10/100 NIC for use on laptops or 
computers where adding a card is not an option.
