 Gnotime 2.2.3 is out (for a while now)
 It includes among others, the patch I submitted for the inclusion of
 custom currencies. The enhanced it to automatically use the local currency
 as set up on your PC.

 Please back port for 2.1.  I tested it, and it works fine,
