I simply cannot believe your luck. It is not as if you are not trying...
And still things go badly for you where linux is concerned. I have been
using 64studio (almost) from the beginning and I have had only a few small
issues, that has been resolved over the years. My system is very smooth
indeed. I must say that when I started out I really also did not know
much about linux, though I thought I knew enough.
Sometimes a certain piece of hardware does not want to work, no matter
what. I thought my PC was one of those initially, until I updated the
bios. After that all was well. Are you sure you have the latest bios for
your motherboard installed?
