Hi gang,
long time no talking to the list here.
Just decided to give 64 Studio another try,
so I reinstalled 2.0 from my DVD and DIRECLY,
without going over the case 'Start', and not getting 4000.- bucks
went ahead to upgrade distro.
So now I'm up to 2.1.pre2 (I guess that's it for now?

Anyway, I remember having had quite a few niggles with the initial
release of 2.0, where I couldn't really set up a lot of stuff
due to some (to me) esoteric messages like the above.
I also remember some dbus lib responsible for some of the trouble,
but even after installing the recommanded packages by Free, it sort of
worked.

Now this is a really fresh install with nothing else touched (except
some Kbd defaults and other cosmetic stuff).
Now when I want to launch terminal and operate as root (which is
required for quite some stuff) I most often get the below message and
can't continue. I have to shutdown terminal then and retry.
I may try again the fix from back then, which consisted of
installing/upgrading [libnet-dbus-perl]

Will let you know how I get along a little farther in time.
