[64studio-devel] 1.4.0 giving me more problems then 1.3.0

Hi,
it seems that 1.4.0 has some problems with user accounts
accessing admin functions.
For instance, it happens with 'Network settings', 'Users & Groups',
'Time & Date', 'Services', 'Shared Folders' etc...
I try to call said function(s), it asks me for the password, I type it 
in and then get a message that says something like:
'Configuratin could not be loaded.
You're not authorised to access system configuration'

I also see some other weird behaviour, like firefox shutting down again 
at any one point, doing nothing, just changingopening a website.
