hello,

Additional info: I reported this a few days ago (it was a problem in 1.3.7) 
however no meaningful error was generated at the time.

Error given prior to today's update was:

Don't know if this is a big problem or not - it could cause annoyance 
because you have to quit ardour before being able to fire-up audacity.
