[64studio-devel] latest ISO : can't configure network with gnome

hello:

as requested, here is the output from groups;

tux at 64studio:~$ groups
tux disk dialout cdrom floppy audio video plugdev netdev powerdev scanner
camera stb-admin

I'm logged in as user tux, which was the one setup during install. No other
users have been created.

system is AMD64/version 1.3.7 built on 11th May. Disk was formatted before
install.
Apart from checking Jack was working, no other modifications had taken place
when this problem was discovered.

This problem also affects other items from that menu (like the one to create
users or share folders). Synaptic, printing and login screen menu items are
not affected.

regards
steve
