[64studio-devel] 64bit: booting GUI crashes and checking CD before install wont work

Hi!
I can't login normally, only "single user" option works.
When I check the CD integrity before the installation it always says 
there is no valid CD in the drive.
I tried burning to DVD and CD and I also changed the drive.

I have an Asus K8V Deluxe motherboard (VIA KT800), IDE drives and an Ati 
X800XL.

I also tried Ubuntu 64bit and when checking the CD from the Live CD boot 
menu it crashes. The Live CD works fine otherwise but the installed 
system also crashes starting the GUI (xinit).

Can someone help please?
