Hallo Susan

The question about not seeing QJackCtl in the ALT-TAB list should really
go to rncbc aka Rui Nuno Capela <rncbc at rncbc.org>. Rui is the developer
of QJackCtl.

Once started, you should be able to access QJackCTl over the system tray
in the Gnome panel.
