[64studio-devel] nvidia driver not found for my nvidia GeForce Go 6150

I would like to get rid of the vesa driver in my xorg.conf file that drives
my video.  It performs poorly and does not allow 1440X900 resolution my card
is capable of,
even if I enter that resolution in the xorg.conf 24 bit default screen
resolution line.

Substituted "nv" driver, but only works at 640X800 resolution.
Substituted "nvidia" for the driver, but on startx, the driver could not be
found.

I did a "locate" command, and there is a bunch of nvidia stuff in the
installation.

How do get xorg.conf to recognize the driver.  Does something need to be
installed.
