Do  you mean 2.6.19/2.6.20? That's  because of the  etch freeze before
the  release.   After the  release they'll start   updating the kernel
again.

Did it work before? Which architecture are you running? amd64?

Did you  try to use the nvidia  kernel module package shipped with the
last ISO?
