[64studio-devel] das watchdog observation

I can't see any das watchdog process running on my pre3 system.

I don't have an entry for it in the services dialog.

I can't see any files in my /etc/init,d/ folder which can begin it

Should the package be started in a production system?  or is it a dev-only 
facility?

If this is intended to be in production, maybe this daemon is a 
pre-requisite for release?
