[64studio-devel] Starting Jack by default

Hi all,

I think regarding #336 a possible solution would be to start jack by
default, and let the few applications that do not still support it
(kino and ekiga AFAICT) be wrapped by a script which warns the user
that jack is running.

Hopefully this would also encourage upstream developers to write jack
backends for their applications.

We could also include oss2jack and start it by default, according to
my test it behaves quite good with certain applications, e.g. mplayer,
which doesn't have jack support in the debian etch package (I've
tested it with kino as well I get lot of xruns).

Ciao,

Free
