Hello all,

I am a happy 64Studio user.... may I ask for some advice or tips on how to proceed best?
Mainly I am using my 64Studio box for working with ardour + jack and some video editing

But I am involved in Cinelerra developement too. (Cinelerra, the community-version of course).
Typically, devs tend to use bleeding edge, and so the libc6 version starts to cause problems.

64Studio has libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 from Etch, while Debian/Testing has a 2.5 version,
which makes adding some packages selectively for developement-related things (like a recent
version of GIT) difficult.

What are other peoples experiences with Debian/Testing? is it very unstable at the moment?
In the last 1 1/2 years I successfully used a mix of 64Studio and Etch (high APT-priority for
64Studio packages). In the past 64Studio had the policy to follow Etch with some care but be
not too far away from bleeding edge to ease participating in developement. What are your future
plans with this?

Any suggestions or ideas how to best aproach this problem at the moment?
