 Hi Steve, thanks for the tests :-) My own tests replicate what you've
 found about demos earlier than 0.8.2. I also found clipping problems in
 the demos TR808kit-demo.h2song 0.9.2-cvs (now fixed), rullada.h2song 0.8.2
 and tipododiciottavi.h2song 0.8.2 (these two still clipping, they play
 even when all tracks are muted, so they must be badly broken and will have
 to be removed). We can now update the hydrogen and hydrogen-drumits
 packages, stripping out all the dodgy demos.
