This looks the same as the errors I get booting with a wi-fi dongle in
under the 2.6.21 kernel. Have you tried booting with the USB devices
removed (methodically) or indeed booting with the "irqpoll" option?

Either way, this looks like the same kernel bug to me. Workarounds

Hey Tim:

The first error line (which I realize now I didn't copy, and now I can't
for the life of me find the log file) had a reference to 1394. I have
had similar error with firewire as it shares the same IRQ as the monitor
- hardwired that way (stupid HP). I have added 'irqpoll' to the boot
command and have unplugged all usb devices. No change.

Must work now. Will try to find that logfile later and provide a few
more pieces of the error message.
