 Fresh install 2.0pre1 master 13-jul-07

 My PC has no wireless network.

 The fresh install of 64studio is automatically starting networkapplet, but
 this application is not required for me.

 The applet gives misleading information "no network available"

 There is no obvious method to deactivate the applet.  It is not in the
 list of services and cannot be removed from the panel.
