Ok, I did both now. First I just made an apt-get dist-upgrade. Today I
installed (on another machine - but where the error occured as well) from
scratch - without the error - but with some others ;-): It was just, that
installation hang, because some packages weren't available - but maybe
because an old dvd-drive).

At all Installation went well. All fine.

One more thing: it's a little bit confusing that nfs-common is installed but
is not starting in the default runlevel. So nfs works only partially and it's
not easy to find the fault.

if i do update-rc.d nfs-common defaults there is still the problem that the
stop-script of nfs-common in /etc/rc0.d is K20nfs-common instead of e. g.
K80nfs-common. So - if any nfs is mounted during halt the computer doesn't
shutdown.

I reported the problem once - but now we know the answer ;-).

So long and thanks.
pete
