[64studio-devel] Should I try SMP (AMD)?

No need...Use Synaptic to install the other kernel as well (don't forget 
the headers etc.)  This way you can try SMP (it will be the top most 
boot option) and if you like it, leave it.  This allows you to go back 
to the default kernel if you ever wanted to - (Troubleshooting new 
hardware for instance)

I run the SMP kernel with good results
