Comment:

 Rebuilding the 2.6.17 kernel for a 32-bit system would be better, as
 2.6.18-RT wasn't as reliable when booting on certain systems. The 2.6.17
 source is here:  http://archive.64studio.com/pool/main/l/linux-2.6/linux-
 source-2.6.17_2.6.17-4_all.deb
