[64studio-devel] boot parameter request redux

That doesn't seem to be a standard boot parameter; I can't find it in 
the kernel documentation. Perhaps it's something that Jaromil cooked up 
as a work-around.

It sounds like the problem was triggered by this kernel bug:

It was fixed in 2.6.16, but the installer kernel in 64 Studio 1.0 is 2.6.15.
