[64studio-devel] Going crazy: div. apps exiting without preventing me - loosing my work

Hi there,
does anybody else experience this kind of malfunction maybe?

Lemme explain, I open Firefox, browse some pages (the same as usual, I'm 
a habit guy, i.e. always use/visit the same stuff) and suddenly FFcloses 
withoput further notice. Now with FF it's not too bad, having installed 
the 'TabMixPlus' extension which features a crash recovery manager.

But this same thing also happens with other aps, like Rosegarden (which 
I find to be VERY sensitive). Last night I started to create a 
Instrument definition file for my synth, went to sleep, and after my 
coffee this morning went to finish it. All windows were still open as I 
left them etc.
But near the end (already created 768 Preset patches, 52 drum patches, 
ca. 350 User created preset patches) this damn thing simply goes 'pouf'.
Of course, my definition file just went belly up. GRRRR :( Not happy at all.
This is on a stock 1.1.1 install, I haven't yet included any other repos 
for apt-get and didn't install anything else manually.

So please, where do I have to search the error? What can I do to prevent 
this behaviour, as it is not acceptable at all. If I want to rely on my 
PC for my media work I need to know that I CAN trust it. At least as 
long as I don't experiment with installing other stuff/untested patches 
and such.

Any help is greatly welcome.
