I have the RME Digi9632, with the 2 sets of ADAT.  I know a lot of you 
distrust the Behringer products, but I have a DDX3216 digital mixer with 
the ADAT extension, and it really works well for me. My recordings sound 
better and more natural than those of my "competitors" - even though 
some of them have much more expensive equipment than I have.  As for 
noise, I had to work with raw material from one of these other guys 
once, and I had all my days to get it as clean as my raw material. (I 
actually thought of introducing some noise into mine to make it fit in 
the album...)

Thanks for the tips anyway, I pass them on to the new linux guys here, 
and I might expand my operations soon.

PS: Thanks to my new friends at 64Studio, I don't have a single piece of 
warezed software in my studio!
