Hi Martin,
I don't think you have to configure anything except Qjackctl and that's
pretty simple.
In the setup window select:
Driver : freebob
Interface : hw:0
Input Channels : 10
Output Channels : 10
Frames/Period : 1024
Periods/Buffer :3
and uncheck Realtime
Then you can start jackd.
Realtime must be unchecked because else the computer will probably
freeze as soon as Freebob start because of a bug somewhere in the
realtime kernel patch.
2.6.19rt15 kernel works for me on a laptop but freeze as expected on an
onother one.
The best is to install the Debian stock kernel and to run jackd in
realtime.
That's what I did before. Don't go with low latency. Try 1024 or so.
When recording I use 4096.
Freebob team recommands 3 buffers / period. When using 2 buffers I
noticed glitchs not reported as Xruns. Too much to be usable on a laptop
and a very few on a another...
