[64studio-devel] no sound on 32-bit install

All,

I'm a 64-bit AMD setup and everything is just perfect out of the box.

I wanted to get VST support, so decided to try to compile lmms - big mistake 
bacause wine was throwing up compilation errors.

So, I wiped my 64-bit install , and replaced it with the 32-bit version 
(hoping that 32-bit wine is stable).

Problem was that out of the box, I had no sound at all, no sound modules 
loaded, the OS refused to ismod the modules, but the device (motherboard 
sound card) is seen via $lspci.

I gave up and re-installed AMD-64.

Any clues about the lack of sound in 32-bit?
