You're absolutely right, this is a known bug with version 1.0. Free was 
going to upload the new version of libjack-dev, but I'm not sure if he 
was able to do that before his laptop broke down. I think he's burned it 
out with extreme compilation sessions :-)

Rest assured, we are on the case with this one and will have it fixed soon.
