Please try our 1.1.1 development version, with a 2.6.19 kernel - you can 
find it here:

http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/

Does the boot problem happen before the installer has run, or afterwards 
when you boot the new system for the first time? If it's the former, it 
may be that you'll have to wait until we upgrade the kernel in the 
installer.
