[64studio-devel] problem running 64studio on laptop

Actually, I might have some insight.  Perhaps you're having the same 
problems with sata as I was having:

When booting from the cd, begin the installation with the following line:

install libata.atapi_enabled=1

That should enable your sata drives properly.
