Hi Matthew,

> Do you have a list of supported audio hardware?

The definitive list of ALSA drivers is here:

http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/

However there are also developments taking place in the FireWire arena
with the FreeBoB driver:

http://freebob.sourceforge.net/index.php/List_of_Supported_Devices

http://freebob.sourceforge.net/index.php/List_of_Working_Setups

We do not yet have the FreeBoB driver installed by default on 64 Studio,
but we're working on that. You can install it yourself, of course, but
that can be tricky if you're not familiar with it.

No, the drivers are the same on both builds. It's a different situation
from that on Windows, because Linux has been 64-bit for some time, and
code is more often written with portability in mind. Indeed, some cards
which are obsolete under recent versions of Windows still work fine with
an up-to-date install of Linux.

Cheers!

Daniel
