Yes, I use the RME "Hamerfall" 9636 card.  Supposed to be the "budget" 
card - It is a 16ch in and out device (two banks) and has excellent 
Linux support.  It can handle 96kHz and full duplex.  I have a AMD64x2 
+3800 system, and I do real time effects and run jammin in real time @ 
44100Hz, once with 2.5ms of latency as a test..  Although this was risky 
(I use 5ms for live) I had no xruns, and the sound was great.
