[64studio-devel] 64studio 1.4.0 not booting properly after installing from a cd

The Live CD does not need to access your hard drives. It should even 
work when there is no hard drive connected at all.

Grepping our kernel config:

daniel at 64studio:/boot$ grep PATA_MPIIX config-2.6.22-1-multimedia-amd64
# CONFIG_PATA_MPIIX is not set
daniel at 64studio:/boot$ grep IT821X config-2.6.22-1-multimedia-amd64
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IT821X=m
# CONFIG_PATA_IT821X is not set

it seems that we do not have the options set which are required for your 
motherboard, or at least for PATA support, according to:

Just to confirm, the 2.6.17 kernel in 64 Studio 1.0 booted correctly on 
this board?
