Hi Free,

I took the plunge, everything installed without a hitch.

Only limited usage so far (about 2 hours):

Findings:

1/ Visually, no difference
2/ Performance, can't detect any noticeable difference (but my system is not 
stressed)
3/ Stability, no problems

Looking at the release notes, I've not yet tried out the new stuff (like 
applets and Tomboy) also,  the power saving features don't apply to my 
desktop.
