[64studio-devel] couple of issues with 2.0 - very strange clock problem

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your help.  I should have mentioned that this is my dual-core 
AMD laptop.

I had already tried the suggested fixes in the forum ( setting 
clocksource=acpi_pm )  but this seems to have no effect.  My problem is 
different from this user; rather than pause 2 minutes, my system simply 
will not run until some "external stimulus" is generated.

I'll keep experimenting and update you if I find out the cause.
