[64studio-devel] CPU frequency scaling

Hi list,

what's the chance of having a 64 studio kernel with cpu frequency
scaling? Obviously when doing realtime audio work it's best to have the
CPU at full speed all the time, but I use my laptop for general purposes
too and the battery takes a big hit when running at full speed. It also
gets hot fast.

>From by brief reading, I understand that even with cpufreq enabled it's
possible to fix the frequency at a chosen value, using cpufrequtils. Or
is this totally incompatible with the multimedia patches?
