John... I'm not absolutely certain if my answer is correct (I've used
far too many distros in the past 7 years).... I am thinking that APT
or DPKG (is DPKG still available?) allows you to search for the name
of the package which provides a certain file.... I believe APT/DPKG
needs to already know about the package that provides the file, so it
can't guess about packages that it doesn't already know. If I'm
correct, that search might help you locate the missing .h file.
