Comment:

 I've tried the flac file, I was able to hear it as expected if I only
 clicked once in the file manager. If I double-clicked, it played twice,
 but overlaid like a short reverb. I can confirm the file manager sounds
 worse than the 'play sample' button; the file preview adds gain, which
 causes distortion if the sample peaks close to 0dBFS.
